the basics of shooting 35mm film

1 hour facetime + 2 hour hands on shooting session

what you will learn:

  1. how to navigate your film camera and its settings - iso/film speed, aperture/depth of field, shutter speed/freezing or showing motion

  2. how to load and unload film

  3. how to advance, focus, and take a photo

  4. how to set up your own dark room and develop your own film (if desired)

  5. where to send or take your film to be developed, scanned, and printed

  6. how to archive your negatives

  7. hands on shooting experience with me there to guide you and answer any questions you might have

  8. camera, film, and developing costs are SEPARATE or not included. film camera can be provided for session upon request. film & film developing can be provided for additional cost.

digital beginner///$500

the ins and outs of your digital camera

1 hour facetime + 2 hour hands on shooting session

what you will learn:

  1. how to navigate your digital camera and its settings - iso, aperture, shutter speed, auto focus/manual focus

  2. best method to import your files to your computer

  3. basic lightroom & photoshop editing

  4. hands on shooting experience with me there to guide you and answer any questions you might have

  5. camera, sd card, hard drive, computer & editing software costs are separate or not included. camera and sd card can be provided for session upon request and additional cost.

digital advanced///$750

Already know how your camera functions and Looking to get your photo business off the ground? or wanting hands on EXPERIENCE shadowing someone in the field?

1 hour facetime + 2 hour in person session - this package is tailored by you, and i’m just the teacher! You let me know what you need help with and im there.

session could include:

  1. culling & editing tuorials

  2. website build or refresh

  3. studio lighting

  4. business branding & marketing

  5. shadowing me during a wedding

  6. shadowing me during a shoot of your choosing

  7. etc.

  2. the similarities and differences of both your film & digital camera - iso, aperture, shutter speed, loading/unloading film, sd card differences

  3. most efficient way to import your files to your computer

  4. basic editing techniques and best softwares to use

  5. how to set up your own darkroom (if desired)

  6. where to take your film to be developed, scanned, and printed

  7. how to archive your negatives

  8. hands on shooting experience with me there to guide you and answer any questions you might have
